Llama song “Bohemian Lambsody”
Trinity Reimer and Claire Toomey
Is this just real life?
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.
Look up to the skies and see
I’m just a llama, I need no sympathy,
Because I'm easy come, easy go
A little tall, little fuzzy
Anyway the grass grows, doesn't really matter to me, to me
Mama, just killed a lamb,
Put mah hoove against his head
Kicked a lil, now he’s dead
Mama, his life had just begun,
But now I’ve gone and kicked it all away
Mama, ooo
Didn’t mean to make you cry
If I’m not back by this time tomorrow
Carry on, carry on, as if nothing really matters
Too late, my time has come
Sends shivers down my spine
Body's aching all the time
Goodbye everybody I've got to go
Gotta leave you all behind and face the hooveeee
Mama, ooo (anyway the wind blows)
I don't want to die
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all
I see a little silhouetto of a lamb
Scaramouch, scaramouch will you do the fandango
Thunderbolt and lightning very very frightening me
(Little llama,) little llama, (little llama)
Llama Figaro - magnifico
But I'm just a poor boy and nobody loves me
He's just a poor boy from a poor family
Spare him his life from this monstrosity
Easy come easy go will you let me go
Mama llama! No we will not let you go (let him go)
Mama llama! We will not let you go (let him go)
Mama llama! We will not let you go (let me go)
Will not let you go (let me go) never
Never let you go let me go
Never let me go ooo
No, no, no, no, no, no, no
Oh mama llama, mama llama, mama llama let me go
Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me
For me
For me!
From ghost of lamb:
So you think you can stone me and spit in my eye
So you think you can love me and leave me to die
Oh baby, can't do this to me baby
Just gotta get out just gotta get right outta here
Ooh yeah, ooh yeah
Nothing really matters
Anyone can see
Nothing really matters nothing really matters to me
Anyway the wind blows
Is this just fantasy?
Caught in a landslide,
No escape from reality.

Famous Alien Abduction (part I)
Crimson sky
Stars go by
Your birthday cake
Cows in a lake

Space is very high
A tear in your eye
Comets shy by
I’m going to die

Famous Alien Abduction (part III)
False alarm- you cry
The aliens were kind
Fed you cosmic french flies
Yes they were actual flies

reflect
Eileen Xue
Years always seem a lot shorter
Maybe you did more than the last
Or rather you did less
Weeks seem to fly by much faster
Like cards, days are stacked
There are periods of stress
It seems that seconds are fragile
Every minute doesn’t last
The year reflects you
You are seeing yourself in glass
But it seems time isn’t running out
It only just has passed
Maybe you did more than the last
Or rather you did less
Weeks seem to fly by much faster
Like cards, days are stacked
There are periods of stress
It seems that seconds are fragile
Every minute doesn’t last
The year reflects you
You are seeing yourself in glass

queen
Lilli Gates
She wanted to be a queen.
So she tried her best at everything.
She tried but everything was challenging.
She wanted to give up.
There was too much in her cup.
All the girls and boys hurt her.
All dark shadows stand there
They just lurk.
They took her crown
They made her the clown
All they did was drag her down.
She couldn't pull herself back up
So she just Lied down and gave up.
So she tried her best at everything.
She tried but everything was challenging.
She wanted to give up.
There was too much in her cup.
All the girls and boys hurt her.
All dark shadows stand there
They just lurk.
They took her crown
They made her the clown
All they did was drag her down.

So she just Lied down and gave up.
return to the city
Stephen Haffer
Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face.
As I walk through the desert without a trace,
This sand I feel between my toes
Roots me in the grasp of these aching throes.
For want of quench in these lands of thirst,
I must make peace with my god first.
Stone and gold lay beyond the sun
Where my journey long ago begun.
Hooves and feet clamber down the street
To the rhythm of the City’s heartbeat.
Out of the corner of my eye
Is a man who any person wiser than I
Would, with no question, run by.
His sword is curved and reflects the sky.
In the waste, he could give me my end
And on me not a moment they would spend.
I walk through the City from hell,
For I am accused for a crime about which I cannot tell.
I am not a criminal though the ruler in the land
Would have me die at their hand.
So to this barren land, I am forced to wander.
Left to my own thoughts, made to ponder
The friends and family I left behind.
By the actions of my former self, I am confined.
I return to the house that sheltered me in my youth.
There, I hope to find the truth.
For, you see, what I left was a book.
When I was young, I would sit in a nook
And read the story about the king
I hoped to not worry about a thing,
But that hope died long ago
With the dinner held at the chateau.
Oh, let the City beat down upon my face.
These people know naught of the troublesome chase
That caused me to leave this land I called home,
And in the desert for several years I did roam.
But, at last, I have returned
Just as the last year of my life has turned.
I am back now and seeking revenge.
My sweet Gwen I shall avenge.
As I walk through the desert without a trace,
This sand I feel between my toes
Roots me in the grasp of these aching throes.
For want of quench in these lands of thirst,
I must make peace with my god first.

Sonnet
Olivia Gonzales
O love! my current plight finds thee at fault,
For ‘tis thy kindness which torments me so;
One smile from thee doth prove divine assault.
So shall I die: by thy hand, by thy blow.
My love for thee from jealousy did bloom;
A flower gazing with corrupt desire
Upon thy shining face, the sun, for whom
I pine, and in my love become a liar.
And yet, for all my pain I love her more.
Her care for me shines through in her embrace;
Forgive me, love, alas! my heart doth soar,
Just as my breath doth flee, my ribs unlace.
But darling, think not of my idle quest.
My love nor heart shall ever leave my breast.
For ‘tis thy kindness which torments me so;
One smile from thee doth prove divine assault.
So shall I die: by thy hand, by thy blow.
My love for thee from jealousy did bloom;
A flower gazing with corrupt desire
Upon thy shining face, the sun, for whom

Rainy Birthday
Zebadiah Facundo, Angelynn Belman and Leila Gonzales
Every time for the past 12 years
It seems to me the sky sheds tears
It’s time for me to face my fears
So hopefully the skies are clear
So maybe this time the sun will shine
Just as bright as this rhyme
Hopefully not this time
My special day can finally shine
When all is great and all is fine
And it’s getting dark close to night
I wish there was a button to hit rewind
It didn’t rain on my birthday
It didn’t rain not this time
It seems to me the sky sheds tears
It’s time for me to face my fears
So hopefully the skies are clear
So maybe this time the sun will shine
Just as bright as this rhyme
Hopefully not this time
My special day can finally shine
When all is great and all is fine
And it’s getting dark close to night
I wish there was a button to hit rewind
It didn’t rain on my birthday
It didn’t rain not this time
The Blue Faced
Destinee Suarez
She was blue,
He was too.
He was afraid to show it
And she didn't even know it.
They searched the all night
Till one of them saw the light,
Another blue face besides their own.
They had never known
That they were blue on their own,
But once two blues met they knew,
"We are no longer blue".
He was too.
He was afraid to show it
And she didn't even know it.
They searched the all night
Till one of them saw the light,
Another blue face besides their own.
They had never known
That they were blue on their own,
But once two blues met they knew,
"We are no longer blue".
Lil' Brother
Rory Summers
I… haven’t written a poem to you..
Funny cause I’ve written about everything else…
Except you..little brother…
It’s been 11 years since you died
And sometimes i still feel like it should have been me..not you
You know for a while I wanted to be a doctor just to figure out what you get that killed you...even though i hate doctors...and needles
Like some kind of vigilantly revenge… haha do you even know what vigilant means?
..anyways...everyone's ok...they still miss you..
I still miss you little bro..and I never got to say i love you and…
Goodbye

Where Have you Gone
By Alexandra Carrillo
Do not leave me. She whispered,
Do not forget me.
In his home alone, there he felt trapped.
By memories, by his emotions, by pain that resurfaced
Where has the snow gone, please when will
you return to me? She of all people,
He can never forget, never repress. once the snow melts,
A wave of broken images, a pile of shattered hearts resurface
It overwhelms him. Destroys him.
The flowers that regrow allow no comfort, no relief.
And the memories only allow severe scorching heart ache. Only
There is no grace in the beginning of life,
(See the world through his eyes),
And he will show you the suffering that comes with
Surviving a war
losing that to which you have always lived for
Or being abandoned and left alone with your loneliness,
Alone in your own sea of regret drowning
He will show you the misery in spring
Selfishly inviting life into a world where even the purest bleed
The mercy in winter
the numbing comfort in forgetting
If only he would.
where did you go my love?
“I will wait for you here in this home.
Come back to me soon”
--Yet when I finally returned, there, in the ruins,
Your warm touch cold, and your last words faint,
I lost you there and lost myself,
I crumbled,
As did you under the rubble, your silence
it was unbearable
Me, the man, who had accepted his fate, who
Had awaited his death on the battleground,
Did not foresee this future. I did not know,
I did not know I would be the one bidding you goodbye,
(This was not to happen. No!)
Please. Come back to me.
you, the woman who had promised,
was lying motionless and still.
No longer able to reassure me
A promise, you had broken, here in the wreck.
A man's spirit you have crushed as you drew your last breath
And with one life turned to dust, here
Our spirits perished, in this heap of ruins,
Here now seems empty. I lose myself in oblivion,
for I am now
nothing.
As I have lost you, I have lost everything.
I am sorry.
Today that I mourn there is another life born to
replace your existence,
Because the world is such a cruel place,
And it continues to spin nonetheless, and I
avoid this painful reality.
Not letting go, a life that is meaningless and broken, I have decided,
I wish not to forget you.
Because I do not wish to say goodbye,
A price must be paid, and I will remain as I was that day.
Now the snow has melted, and as I walk pointlessly, I mutter,
“Where have you gone, my love?
Do not forget me.

Two Worlds
By Nathan Escobar
The love between two worlds,
The sky and the sea.
Why can’t they be together?
Can’t we leave them be?
Well if that was so,
There would be no ground.
and no more air either,
No more piece or sound.
That’s why there is gravity,
To keep them both at bay,
From the sky up high and the ocean down below,
Preventing disasters everyday.
Though this may seem unrealistic,
Heed my warning please!
Since if the sea and sky collide,
You will be begging on your knees!
The sky and the sea.
Why can’t they be together?
Can’t we leave them be?
Well if that was so,
There would be no ground.
and no more air either,
No more piece or sound.
That’s why there is gravity,
To keep them both at bay,
From the sky up high and the ocean down below,
Preventing disasters everyday.

Seems like your name just disappeared from the air
But i will never forget you
Goes to show who really cared
I guess regret truly is stronger than gratitude
You were as bright as the color we wore at your funeral
Hard to believe its been 2 years since we sat in that room
2 years since I talked to you
Feels like forever since I heard your name
But lately its been echoing in my brain
Most people try to forget
But I don’t want to
That’s how history repeats
We keep quiet about the cold truth
They live under an umbrella
Then shocked when the rain comes
Its about time we tell em
Silence is what kills us
But i will never forget you
Goes to show who really cared
I guess regret truly is stronger than gratitude
You were as bright as the color we wore at your funeral
Hard to believe its been 2 years since we sat in that room

Takis Poem
By Juan Ortiz
You walk into the store head to the chip isle
Then you grab the chips and head to the cashier
And you walk out with a smile on your face
The bag crunches as you open it
As you open the bag you can feel your mouth getting watery
You pull out a chip and you feel the dusty spice
When you put the chip inside your mouth its feels like a burned tortilla
The taste of the chip feels like limon and chile powder mixed
Then you grab the chips and head to the cashier
And you walk out with a smile on your face
The bag crunches as you open it
As you open the bag you can feel your mouth getting watery
You pull out a chip and you feel the dusty spice
When you put the chip inside your mouth its feels like a burned tortilla
The taste of the chip feels like limon and chile powder mixed
The towering tree
By Alyssa Zamora
It was just one branch
Of the towering tree.
‘Twas a simple twig,
Not helpless, nor beastly.
Was it born to break?
Be ignored and give out?
Trivial on sight,
Unimportant, no doubt.
Others, more num’rous
Thrown in with them, it blends.
With assertiveness,
The segment still contends.
But about this branch,
The bough proclaimed needed.
Many disapproved,
But the wise tree pleaded,
“Oh, dear me, you’re strong.
Void of branches, I’m what?
My friend, I’m nothing.
Just soil, water abut.
The world is so big,
Yet every part matters.
We are connected.
But ‘exceptional’ flatters.
So, yes you’re a branch.
And more than that, see.
‘Cause you are a part
Of the towering Me.”
Of the towering tree.

I am sitting.
By Alyssa Zamora
I am sitting.
The world is against me.
It’s best to hide.
The air is frigid.
Who to confide?
Perhaps a grip
To pull me up
Perhaps the warmth
Of a ceramic cup.
I am rising.
Fear strikes my soul,
But I just keep moving.
I am by myself.
So to whom am I proving?
Then I see a face
Though it’s peculiar.
Slight comfort is found
When it’s unfamiliar.
I am standing.
This perspective is new.
And yet it’s not too bad.
But for the reached position
A struggle was had.
But can I go more?
Can I keep growing?
Then I see more faces.
And my heart, they keep sewing.
I am flying.
The world is against me.
It’s best to hide.
The air is frigid.
Who to confide?
Perhaps a grip
To pull me up
Perhaps the warmth
Of a ceramic cup.
I am rising.
Fear strikes my soul,

The dark genocide
By Anonymous
What they call justice, we call murder.
What they call prisons, are our concentration camps.
What they call a punishment, we call slave labor.
This is our world yet, we are not free.
Be careful now, we’re coming ever closer to extinction.
This is the dark genocide.
What they call prisons, are our concentration camps.

Californication
By Rory Summers
Californication: create the feeling that we are free in the world and we can do as we wish.
But the world is full of pain that we rarely see here, we only see the pain on the news, and try to relate to the victim's anguish.
We stay quiet in public,
Smile masks cover the pain we face.
We try to get by in a world full of angels that have fallen from grace.
Some angels can heal and find way to be happy and free.
But the deeply fallen put down the healed for being who they want to be.
We push it off as if it isn’t real
You only say that because you don't know how others truly feel.
But true evil plagues the world in form of discrimination.
Thousands of people being attack across our nation,
By those who think it’s ok to attack random strangers.
Those same people call protests “risks” and “dangers”.
Innocent people harmed because of race, gender or sexual orientation,
All dieing from mass fascist suffocation.
Some think we should fight fire with fire,
But you can not save a house by making the flames higher.
People hate on love
We can stop this, all we need is a shove.
We all can heal from the hate,
All we need is love to keep us from a dark fate that some wish to create.
The pain may make you want to fight or hide,
But that will only put us back by strides.
Don’t let Californiacation blind you from the real world,
And do not let the real world force you back into your drug induced dreamworld.
To help the world heal and make it a peaceful place,
Take the hate, and switch it with love and pity to fill that space.
Stop the spread of Californiacation
And help the rest of the world reach a beautiful destination.

Fall poem
By Rory Summers
As the cold sun rises
Icy air nips at your exposed skin
People flood coffee shops and stands
The smell of rich, warm drinks fill the air.
The times of Libras, Scorpios and Sagittarius’
A season for soft oranges, dark greens, ranges of reds and browns
It's the time for jackets and scarves and long flowing coats
It's fall
The best time of year
It may be halloween
But that's no need to fear.
Icy air nips at your exposed skin
People flood coffee shops and stands
The smell of rich, warm drinks fill the air.
The times of Libras, Scorpios and Sagittarius’
A season for soft oranges, dark greens, ranges of reds and browns

Woodland Cottage
By Anonymous
In a cozy woodland cottage
Amid the towering trees
A hearty fire crackles
In an attempt to not let us freeze
We have on layer after layer
Bundled up like Eskimos
Fur-lined shoes and socks
Are my feet's heroes
The smell of pine wood
And a hint of birch
A little bird sings merry songs
From his icy perch
From inside my cottage
I gaze at nature covered in ice
Diamonds seem to cover the landscape
Of my woodland paradise
Amid the towering trees
A hearty fire crackles
In an attempt to not let us freeze
We have on layer after layer
Bundled up like Eskimos
Fur-lined shoes and socks
Are my feet's heroes
The smell of pine wood
And a hint of birch
A little bird sings merry songs
From his icy perch
From inside my cottage
I gaze at nature covered in ice
Diamonds seem to cover the landscape
Of my woodland paradise
